Jennifer Andaya, a mom and wife to an OFW, regularly brings her two children to the mall during weekends. It has become almost a habit for the family to play at the arcade for an hour before heading for a quick snack at favorite their fast food chains. She says that this is her way of bonding with her children and giving rewards for a good school performance.
”Malling,” defined as going to a shopping mall and whiling away the hours, has become a way of life for a lot of Filipino families. In its continuing effort to give more fun and value to Filipino families, World of Fun is launching its “Fun Pamilya” campaign with the tag line “Sa World of Fun, Todo Saya, Todo Fun Pamilya”. The new campaign aims to encourage families to spend more quality time with each other at World of Fun. And to support this effort, WOF is improving further its services and product offerings, and organizing more events where the entire family can participate in.
And to kick off the Fun Pamilya campaign, WOF’s search for the next Videoke Idol has been revamped to include a seniors division, in addition to the kids and youth categories. Now on its 4th year, Videoke Next Level, Fun Pamilya Na!, will cover all family members. Kids Category will include 8 - 12 years old; Youth Category will be for those from 13 – 21 years old while Senior Category will be targeted to adults ages 22 - 30 years old. This event will run from April 1 to June 13, 2009.
World of Fun will also be launching the Fun Pamilya Extravaganza; a raffle promo that offers prize showcases that has something exciting for every member of the family. Customers who purchase the Fun Family Treat and Fun Barkada Deal special token packages will automatically get a corresponding number of raffle coupons. This Fun Pamilya Extravaganza 2009 will run from April 13 to May 27, 2009.
Along with the nationwide promotion of the Fun Pamilya campaign are local store promos and events like the Fun Pamilya WOF It Up Games. Family members will enjoy new WOF It Up Games and more Fun Pamilya activities at all WOF branches soon. |

Filipinos are well known for their close family ties and World of Fun aims to further enhance these ties as it launches “Fun Pamilya Extravaganza 2009.”
Fun Pamilya Extravaganza 2009 is a raffle promo that offers prize showcases that has something exciting for every member of the family. Prizes include kitchen appliances for moms, cool gadgets for dads and school gadgets for kids.
Customers who purchase the Fun Pamilya Treat and Fun Barkada Deal special token packages will automatically get a corresponding number of raffle coupons. The raffle coupons should be completely filled-out when dropped in designated boxes in World of Fun branches nationwide.
This Fun Pamilya Extravaganza 2009 will run on April 13 to May 27, 2009. Deadline of submission of entries will be on May 27, 2009 at the closing hour of each store. Grand Draw will be on June 13, 2009 at SM City North EDSA along with the Grand Finals of Videoke Next Level, Fun Pamilya Na!.
This raffle promo is also World of Fun's way of rewarding loyal WOF patrons especially families who regularly visits WOF stores for family bonding.

World of Fun announces this year's search for the next singing sensation – the Videoke Next Level, Fun Pamilya Na!
On its 4th year, World of Fun promises that this year's search is wider, bigger and bolder with the addition of a new category, the seniors, for crooners 22 to 30 years old. Children aged 8 to 12 will join the kids' category, while those aged 13 to 21 will join the youth category. Almost every member of the family gets a chance to take center stage.
So, prepare the whole family and practice your favorite tunes at any WOF KTV rooms before heading to your World of Fun branch to register. Make this a family affair, and be what World of Fun calls a "Fun Pamilya." Fame, fortune and lots of family bonding moments await all.
The contest is open to all World of Fun VIP members, with no professional singing experience. Interested applicants must present proof of birth, 2x2 ID picture, plus parental consent for those below 18 years old.
To become a World of Fun VIP member, just submit a duly accomplished application form with a valid ID and a membership fee of fifty pesos. Membership is free for one time purchase of tokens worth three hundred pesos.
Aside from the chance to claim the spotlight, VIP members get five free tokens upon submission of application, free 5 tokens monthly, 20% discount on redemption prizes for a minimum of 200 tickets and free 20 tokens during birthdays. VIP members can also get more free tokens for every purchase of VIP fun packs, VIP barkada deals and VIP family packs.

Fun Pamilyas from Bulacan, get ready for this new fun and wholesome hangout place the whole family will enjoy. World of Fun, the country's leader in indoor amusement, opens a new branch at the 2nd level of Walter Mart in Sta. Maria, Bulacan last February 25, 2009.
Lucky customers who attended the opening got to enjoy special treats, surprises and entertainment. World of Fun mascot, Woffy, welcomed all guests to this new family oriented amusement center, which features imported and latest arcade games, driving games, shooting games, basketball games, videoke and KTV rooms, kiddie rides, carnival rides and redemption ticket games.
